On Sunday at 4 am, the Pattaya Police Investigating Inspector Pol. Lt. Col. Wallop Gahng-ta-ra-tip were called to investigate a shooting on Tepprasit Road. The Sawang Boriboon Rescue Team was also contacted for assistance, and at the scene, many blood stains were found on the street, plus 4 empty 9 mm shells. There was also an injured man, identified later as Mr. Surachaid Po-chai-saen, aged 20, who had been shot in his right hip, and had been taken to the hospital prior to the arrival of the police. A member of one of the gangs, Mr. Cherng-chai Tong-dee-nork, aged 26, stated that 6 men from his group including him, came on 3 motorcycles to clear up a problem with another group at this place. When his group arrived, all the members stopped their motorcycles and got off the bikes, leaving the keys in the ignition. Just after they got off their bikes, about 10 teenagers on many motorcycles motored up to his group, and shouted at them, asking how tough they were, and then started shooting at them. The crazy teens fired off about 5-6 bullets before taking off, injuring Mr. Surachaid. The police network was alerted, and further investigations will continue to track down these rotten kids.
